CENTENARY CELEBRATION (1922-2022).
To commemorate the Hospital reaching another mile stone of completing 100 years of existence in serving the people in the field of health care the Hospital Governing Board has constituted various committees/sub committees viz. the centenary celebration committee, the programme sub-committee, Souvenir sub-committee, Finance Sub –committee etc. Meetings
are held from time to time although the Covid-19 Pandemic has affected the overall progress in the matter but it is hoped that we will be able to achieve the the aim to celebrate the centenary year starting from 25 th March, 2022 (Foundation Day) and culminate in November the same year.
Centenary Building
With advancement in the health care technology of modern days a need arises for up gradation, expansion which also includes acquisition of modern equipment which will require a separate infrastructure, building that can be more appropriate and memorable of the legacy that has been passed to this generation with greater amount of pride as well as responsibilities to shoulder while retaining the Main Hospital building that will continue to provide existing
services upgraded and connect throughthe connecting ramp with the New proposed Hospital Centenary Building . The Hospital Infrastructural Building Committee comprising of Senior Doctors, Structural Architect, Civil Engineer and members of the Administrative committee review the matter from time totime including site visits before the same is finally approved by the Hospital Governing Board.
The 4 storied building will take at least 5 years to complete at an estimated cost of RS 38.06 crores.

The New Proposed Hospital Centenary Building will have a total plinth area of 8006 Sq. metres and will include facilities such as Parking spaces, Stores, Medical Records, special OPD (orthopaedics), General wards,semi private rooms, Operation theatre complex, Dialysis Unit, Auditorium, Conference Hall for 200 people, Guest House, Foyer, Chapel, Lift, offices, Connection Ramp, Lounge, Reception, Toilets, Wash rooms, Guard Rooms, Nursing Stations, Fire safety equipment etc.
Funding
The Hospital Governing Board is making an appeal to the KJP Assembly for donations from churches and donors, besides the PCW which had been a constant support to the Hospital from time to time, and efforts are also being made to appeal through other funding agencies for this noble project.
