Capping and lamp lighting ceremony
30 students were capped by Sr. E. Diengdoh, while simultaneously the lamp was lighted and passed on to the students by Sr. H. Bornia. With lamp in hands, the newly capped students undertook the Nurses Pledge and also rendered a heartwarming dedication song.
It was a proud moment for the meritorious students of each class to receive the prizes and certificates which were presented by the Administrative Officer, Shri. K.W. Marbaniang.
T.Bn. (Dr) P. Lyngkhoi then addressed the gathering. He shared the example of nurses who have sacrificed and worked beyond the call of duty. He also briefed the life story of Florence Nightingale and her wondrous works and dedication. He believes that these young nurses would develop all the ethics and values necessary of the profession and to take the institution to greater heights to glorify God name
